Subscriptions
Doctor's Journal offers an optional Premium subscription that unlocks unlimited usage of recordings, providers, doctors, medications, document scans, test results, recurring tests, and cloud backup. The free tier of the app is available without any subscription.
- Length: Monthly auto-renewing subscription (1 month per period).
- Price: Shown in the app at the time of purchase, in your local currency. Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) process the transaction and the exact price is determined by the App Store / Google Play storefront for your country.
- Auto-renewal: Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Free trial: Doctor's Journal does not currently offer a free trial. If a trial is offered in the future, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Managing your subscription: You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time from your device:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Doctor's Journal Premium
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled directly by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We are unable to issue refunds. For App Store purchases, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, request via the Play Store order history.
- Cancellation effect: Cancelling stops the next auto-renewal but does not refund the current period. You retain Premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
- Restore purchases: If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use the “Restore Purchases” button on the paywall screen to recover your Premium access.
- Apple terms: Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are also governed by Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA): apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
